The TravelRewards MasterCard by Alterna is a rewards credit card with an annual fee and some included insurance benefits.

Earn 1 point for every $1 in purchases made with this Alterna Bank TravelRewards MasterCard. Points are redeemable for travel on over 75 airlines with no blackout dates. There is no expiration date on points however only 100,000 points can be accumulated per year. You will receive a 2500 bonus points each year on the account anniversary date.

This card has some insurance benefits such as up to $1,000,000 in common carrier travel accident insurance and extended warranty coverage on purchases up to one year. You can also add balance protection offered by CreditWise which insures up to $30,000 of your balance for a monthly premium of $0.99 (Must be under 70 to qualify.)
